It is important to make sure that the weep holes in your brick where the brick meet the foundation at the ends of
the brick. The weep holes serve 2 functions, letting cool air in at the weep hole and drafting the hot air to the
attic and to let the moisture out of the brick wall from moisture coming through cracks in your mortar joints
It is best to remove any mortar in the weep holes 5 1/2" deep to the slab. This is best done with a drill and a
3/8" x 5 1/2" masonary drill bit.
