The most common repairs for a dryer is the belt breaks that rotates the drum or the idler pulley goes bad and
causes the belt to break.
First unplug the dryer.
To make these repairs you need to find the screws that hold the top of the dryer in place located
at the back of the dryer near the level of the top. Remove the 2 screw and lift it up from the front of the
dryer. You will need to insert a screw driver to release the lever at the front corner so the top will open.
You will be able to remove these parts easily.
The parts are usually in stock at the Sears parts store on Park row in Houston or you can order
them on line to be delivered. Sears is very good at trouble shooting on the phone also.
You can also remove the screws from the paddles inside the dryer and remove all the coins, lint
and other thing that make your drum roll out of balance causing other problems.
